Warwick Photography was started by Thomas Warwick on July 1, 2002 and he expanded with an additional portrait studio in early 2007. A native of Swansea, Illinois, Thomas has been working in photography for over 20 years in the St. Louis area, as a photojournalist and also with anotherstudio prior to opening Warwick Photography. He has been the recipient of photography awards in Missouri and nationally from Kodak and Fuji and is in the International Professional Photography Hall of Fame. He is also an artist and his artistic nature helps him translate the act of taking a picture into capturing andpreserving memories that weave a story.

Thomas and his staff have state-of-the-art equipment for and are experienced in event and portrait work with clients of all ages, including photographing about 60 weddingsa year. One of the goals of Warwick and his employees is to build a relationship with clients, whether they come toWarwick for senior portraits, a barmitzvah or awedding. When there is another life event to capture, those satisfied customers look to Warwick Photography as THE photographic professionals they want.

One of Thomas’s favorite memories: “We did a wedding once that was kind oflast-minute planning. The prospective bride had been diagnosed with cancer and the treatment would cause her to lose her hair. She wanted to hurry and have the wedding before that happened, so everything got moved up. We gave them a special rate, the hotel gave them a deal for the reception—everyone wanted them to have a memorable event. A few years later I photographed her brother-in-law’s wedding and she was there, with her first child in her arms. It was so heartening that she was doing well and I had captured the memories of her special day.”
